It has lived in 3 different apartments (not counting the bookstore), 3 different planters, and had a near death experience which I like to refer to as The Great Aphid Epidemic of 2003. I think it is in the begonia family, but I'm not certain. Martha Stewart, if you're reading this tell me what kind of plant this is!

What a difficult time it was to live through the Great Aphid Scare of 2003. I just experienced the Great Aphid Scare of 2008 with one of my plants. I think it is ok now. Glad to see the little lady has survived for so long!
